OK, so some new things happening in the Spivey world... 1- Today we signed our lease for the new duplex we will move to on June 5! I'm so excited!! I don't know what it is about packing up and moving into a brand new place, but I absolutely LOVE it! :) I think it's getting to throw things out, and "start over".. kinda. I'm sooo ready to get out of an apt, and actually feel like I'm living in a place without people always around. We don't have bad neighbors or anything, it's just weird walking out of your door and possibly running into someone right their in front of you.. just a little awkward. I can only imagine how I'm going to feel when we purchase our first new house!! Also, I'm sure Annie will appreciate being able to run around in the yard free from constant attachment to me or Britt. Well, pretty much nothing new going on here. I'm still working 9-6 at the bank, Britt is in classes during the day and working at night, and being married is AWESOME!! OHHH, except that we are playing city league volleyball on Tuesday nights!! It's so much fun! I can't believe that we haven't done this before?!? For as long as I've been in College Station and gone to ALL of Britt's intramual games and city league softball games, we have FINALLY started up something that I can participate in, and if you can't tell already I am SUPER excited!! :) Annie is doing well. We need to take her in for another check up to make sure her enzyme levels haven't gotten any higher. I was a little worried about her when the doctor told us that they were 1800 and normal is 200. Have you ever thought about how far you can actually fall in love?? Well, tomorrow we hit the 7 month mark!! Seriously... Britt and I have been married for 7 months? It's amazing to me how much more I have fallen in love with him! You know how people say that it's so different after you are married, or that things change- well, "they" are definitely right (tho most of the time "they" are talking negatively). I love Britt sooo much more than I could even imagine in just a mere 7 months, I can't wait to see how much further I fall when we are old and wrinkled. :) This man puts his all in everything he does, his faith amazes me, he puts God first, he does the laundry, makes the bed, takes Annie out even when it's freezing cold, cleans the bathroom, puts the dishes away, helps organize all the "junk" in the closet, takes care of me and keeps me in line, and loves me with all his heart-- now how many wives can say all of that about their husban...

We are finally home from all of our weekend Christmas'. Since I am now out of school and no longer have 3 weeks off for Christmas vacation, we had to work around my work schedule having only Christmas day and New Years Day off. So, all of our Christmas' were on the past 4 weekends. The weekend before Christmas, Britt's dad came down to visit and this was the start of our Christmas'. We had a good time showing Alyssa the campus, opening gifts, and spending time with them. Our first Christmas together as a married couple was actually on Christmas day! What fun! We are now making our own traditions and memories :) Since we bought Annie earlier this year (Oct), we told each other that she was our Christmas gift, but of course we splurged and bought ourselves a treadmill too! Haha! Now we have no excuses, huh?!? At least not for those cold wet days which we've been having lately. Then we bought each other little stocking stuffers for Christmas morning. OK, so those of you who follow my blog probably have stopped by now seeing as though it has been over a month since I've written anything. I guess it's obvious that I'm not much of a blogger, and I don't have a lot of time either. Since I've made you miss out on all of November, here are a few pictures of what we have been up to this past month: We got a dog! Meet Annie- our 1 year old Shih Tzu. She loves to be outside in a pile of leaves chewing on each one of them. She is also fascinated with toilet paper rolls. She has learned "sit" and "down", and loves getting treats when she obeys. It just a matter of time until we have our own little Spivey running around our house... I'm not talking about a baby, in case I fooled you-haha! We are getting a dog!!!!! I am so excited! I get to meet our prospective new family member this weekend!! :) Can you tell that I'm estatic?!?! I found a beautiful Shih Tzu online from a top of the line breeder, and we are going to meet them this weekend :) They have 12 Champion show dogs, but they have taken some time to themselves and bought a Yamaha Dealership, so they aren't going to have new litters anytime soon, but they have some 13 month old pups, and we are getting one!!
